Basic Description

Structure and function ​:
This peptide is a fluorescence quenching protease substrate, and the sequence design contains the following functional modules:
1. ​​Quencher ​:N-terminal 2,4-dinitrophenyl (Dnp) acts as a fluorescence quencher.
2. ​​Restriction sites​ ​:PLGLWA is a specific recognition sequence for matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-2/9) and can be cleaved to release C-terminal fluorescent signals.
3. ​​D-Arginine (r)​ ​:Enhance substrate stability and enzyme cleavage specificity.
4. ​​C-terminal amidation​ ​:Improve the stability of peptides.
