Basic Description

Structure and function ​:
Angiotensin 1-7 is a heptapeptide metabolite of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS). It antagonizes the pathological effects of Angiotensin II by binding to Mas receptors (G protein-coupled receptors) and has the following functions:
