Basic Description

​Synthesis and Functionality​ ​:
FLAG Peptide is an artificially designed 8-amino acid short peptide (sequence: DYKDDDDK). As a highly specific epitope tag, it is widely used in affinity purification, localization and detection of recombinant proteins. Its core features include:
1. ​​High affinity​ ​:It can specifically bind to Anti-FLAG antibodies (such as M1/M2 monoclonal antibodies) and is suitable for Western Blot, immunoprecipitation (IP) and immunofluorescence (IF).
2. ​​Gentle elution​ ​:In the presence of calcium chelators (such as EDTA) or competitive FLAG peptides, mild elution conditions can be achieved to maintain the activity of the target protein.
3. ​Flexibility ​:Can be fused to the N-terminus, C-terminus or inside of the protein without affecting protein folding and function.
